Slave Girl LeiaEven my hamster Neville (yes he is fat) thinks Princess Leia in her slave outfit is hot. Which is unusual as he doesn’t speak that much. It is probably the ultimate geek fantasy for any male geek over the age of 25. Well it turns some geek ladies are pretty into it too. Either that or they have self-esteems so low they let their geek boyfriend pressure them into doing it, which is a depressing thought all round really so will pretend I didn’t type it. New geeky website Geeks.co.uk led me to this site via this story. I think one word sums up that web site (the Leia one) and you know what it is. Awesome! Oh gods I need to get out the house and get laid.

Rumour has it that the much anticipated (if only to see how bad it might be) Star Wars TV series has gone into pre-production down under. The show promises to be for grown ups and not for children. It will be set between ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘A New Hope’ and will cover the rise of the Empire. Despite possible cameos the show promises to have all new characters and not be about a Skywalker, yay. My only hope is that a large number of the cast are actors from Neighbours and Home and Away. That would be awesome. Damn you Barney Stinson I can’t stop using that word now.

Lee as Count Dooku

Lee as Count Dooku

Christopher Lee has been Knighted by the Queen during her Birthday Honours list. Lee who is one the world’s most proflic actors even at the grand old age of 87. He was unable to comment on his honour because he was busy filming. Lee has played some of the most famous bad guys in cinema history starting with what must be considered the best Dracula. More recently of course he was Count Dooku in the Star Wars prequels and Saruman the White in the Lord of the Rings films. He even managed to get himself cast as a Bond villian.

Without doubt the ultimate bad guy of cinema.
